BW is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We take your privacy seriously, and have implemented security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use and modification.

By visiting the App and using the services provided, you agree to the Terms of this Privacy Policy, as it may be amended from time to time. This Privacy Policy has been incorporated into the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement. By providing personal information on the App, you consent to the collection, maintenance, processing and transfer of such information. The Privacy Policy covers how BW treats the personally identifiable information we collect when you use our App. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, do not use our App.

• SECURITY

  All sensitive information that has been submitted to Bear Witness App is protected. We take every precaution to protect all content; however, BW is not responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the personal information you provide.

• INFORMATION COLLECTION, USE, AND SHARING

  BW has exclusive ownership of all information and data collected on our App. The information you voluntarily submit can only be accessed by BW. We do not share, sell, or rent any content we obtain from you. The data you provide during your initial contact will be used to respond to you. BW does not share this information with any third-parties outside of the organization, unless it is essential to fulfill a request.

• EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION

  TBW has implemented an emergency contact feature to the App, which allows a parent/guardian to receive notification when the User sends out an alert when they are not in the area. The User will supply BW with the parent/guardian’s personal email to be entered into our database. All emails will be kept confidential and will not be sold, shared or rented out. When the email alert is activated by the User, BW will check to see if the person is in the database. If they are located in the database, the parent/guardian will received an alert request. The person must then accept the request for verification.

  The alert notifications are location based, in order to notify people, in particular parents/guardians, in your area (wherever you are located) when you are in distress and need witness support quickly. Once verification has been made, the parent/guardian will receive the alert.

• Registration

  Our App requires that you register for BW’s services. By registering, you agree to provide us with complete and accurate information. Your registration is for your use only and not on behalf of any other person or entity. BEAR Witness does not permit its’ Users to make their registration available to multiple users on any network. As a User of the App, you are responsible for preventing such unauthorized use.

• CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

  BW reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions at any time. You should periodically check the App/privacy for updates. Your use of the App or the services after such effective date will constitute acceptance by you of such changes.
